When you have an engagement setup that you would want to run on a regular interval, you can make it recurring.

On the engagements overview page, you'll see a icon next to the engagement name that will highlight which engagements are set to be recurring and with what frequency.

How do I configure my engagement to recur?

On the engagements page, locate the desired engagement. If the engagement can be set to recurring, you will see the 'Recurring Settings' option in the dropdown menu on the right. Engagements can only be set to recurring when they are not yet matched.

Clicking on the button will open a small pop-over that allows you to configure how frequent the engagement will recur and also at what date it stops recurring.

When the engagement has an open and closing date configured for the registration window, it will outline the recurring schedule for the engagement.

The engagement will stop recurring when the last engagement's registration window closes on/after the end date you configure. Once set to recurring, the engagement row will display the settings. Upon clicking the recurring icon, you'll see the schedule and you can disable the recurring schedule.

When does my engagement recur?

When set to recurring, the engagement will create a new version of itself every time it closes until the configured end-date is hit. If your engagement closes on Wednesday end of day, a new draft version will be created right after the engagement closes on Thursday morning.

What does the first/last date mean in the recurring schedule?

The dates under the recurring schedule list your registration windows for the series. The first date represents the start date (i.e. when opt-ins open) and the last date represents the end date (i.e. when opt-ins close).

Can I edit the engagement when it is recurred?

Yes, the engagement will be created as a full copy of your existing engagement but will stay in Draft state. When the engagement is created, you can make final changes before submitting it for review. You must submit for review 48 hours before the engagement is set to start.

Can I disable my engagement from recurring?

When you want to stop an engagement from recurring, you can go to the Recurring Settings. This will give you the option to 'Disable' the recurring schedule.

Which engagements can be made recurring?

When an engagement is in Draft, Reviewing, Scheduled, or Opt-In Open status, it can be set to recurring. One restriction is that only engagements that have a registration window closing date in the future can be recurred.

Can I set a recurring engagement and forget it?

The auto-pilot option will ensure that we automatically schedule the next engagement when the current one ends. You can always unschedule the engagement to make changes like updating the schedule, audience list, and matching criteria.
