Engagement
A full cycle of matching – from registration to feedback. Orbiit refers to this cycle as a ‘matching round’ and/or an ‘engagement.’
Opt-in Rate (%)
The percentage factored by the number of sign-ups to the overall audience invited.
Matches
Participants/sign-ups that are matched for a conversation.
Match Rating
Determined by the participant’s response to the feedback question: “My match was a good fit for me.”
Responses are ranked on a scale of 1-5. 1 indicates they Strongly Disagree; 5 indicates they Strongly Agree. This question determines the compatibility of the match.
The match rating is calculated by taking all match ratings from feedback forms received and dividing them by the number of feedback forms, i.e. the average. This is calculated on an engagement level.
Net Promoter Score (NPS)
Determined by participants’ response to the feedback question: “Based on your experience, how likely are you to recommend your peer conversation?”
Responses are ranked on a scale of 0-10. People who respond with 0-6 are considered Detractors, 7-8 are Passives, and 9-10 are Promoters.
NPS is on a scale of -100 to 100. To calculate NPS:
NPS = % Promoters - % Detractors
This question determines the overall satisfactory experience with the match process from end to end. Similar to match rating, NPS is calculated as the average NPS (i.e. from all feedback forms received divided by the number of feedback forms). This calculated on an engagement level.
Orbiit Meet
Orbiit uses a third-party video servicing provider Daily.co to whitelabel and run match conversations. The video service is similar to Zoom and Teams, whitelabeled to show our clients’ logos and names.
Group Matching
A product offering available to our Pro and Premium clients. If you are on Essential and would like to use this product, it is available at an additional cost of $500 for a trial round.
Duplicate Engagements
We’ve been working hard to reduce the friction of planning engagements. It is now possible to duplicate an engagement directly from the platform.
Member Recognition Badges
Orbiit will automatically assign tags to participants based on how many Orbiit conversations they've had, from new users all the way to power users.
New User
Any member who signed up for the first time.
Repeat User
Any member who has signed up for a matching round more than once and less than 5 times.
Power User
A member who has signed up 5 or more times for matching rounds run up to date.
