Topic Description (this will appear in the opt-in email and sign-up form for your engagement)

Logical, organized, supportive, strategic...different working styles can benefit or slow down a team depending on how they’re managed. In this conversation, share strategies for understanding what makes people tick and navigating people’s styles remotely.

Areas of interest (participants will select 1-3 of these when they sign up for the conversation, and they will be matched with someone with similar interests)

  • My working style

  • Team chemistry

  • Remote collaboration

  • Conflict resolution

  • Giving and receiving feedback

Discussion questions (these will appear as part of the agenda that is sent to participants the day before the conversation, and they are also listed in the calendar invite)

  • How would you describe your working style? Data driven, detail-oriented, emotionally oriented, idea-oriented? Why?

  • What efforts have you made to understand your own working style? Have you taken any useful tests, read any books about this, etc.?

  • How does your team navigate collaboration between different working styles? What does this look like remotely?

  • Think of someone specific at work that you want to improve your relationship with. How would you describe their working style? What makes it different from yours? What are some steps you can take to meet them halfway?
