Topic Description (this will appear in the opt-in email and sign-up form for your engagement)

We're creating a space for your community to talk about putting emotional intelligence to work. Emotional intelligence is the capacity to understand and control your emotions. Embracing them in the workplace can have clear benefits such as better collaboration among employees, a more productive environment, and a happier workforce. With globalization, emotional intelligence becomes more relevant when teams are cross-cultural which means increased complexity of interactions and the way emotions are expressed.

  • Understanding of emotional intelligence and the ability to perceive emotions

  • Maintaining the right attitude and language to approach people from your workplace

  • Managing emotions to attain specific goals

  • Strategies for successfully balancing your mind and emotions in the workplace

  • Dealing with broken relationships after a failed attempt to control your emotions
