Topic Description (this will appear in the opt-in email and sign-up form for your engagement)

Performance reviews can be polarizing, but they can also be major drivers of organizational excellence, career development, and more efficient resourcing. Whether you're reviewing someone or being reviewed yourself, use this conversation to discuss ways to prioritize honest, goal-oriented discussions in your reviews that result in engagement and motivation rather than stress and anxiety.

Areas of interest (participants will select 1-3 of these when they sign up for the conversation, and they will be matched with someone with similar interests)

  • Participating in an open, honest feedback culture

  • Reducing bias in the review and reflection process

  • Using/providing employee feedback to guide performance reviews

  • Giving or receiving manager feedback

  • Planning and executing goal setting

Discussion questions (these will appear as part of the agenda that is sent to participants the day before the conversation, and they are also listed in the calendar invite)

  • What does your organization do well when it comes to performance reviews? Where do you see opportunities for improvement?

  • What’s the most useful feedback you’ve received, and how did you use that feedback to fuel positive changes?

  • What are some reflection and goal-setting habits that you find really useful?
