Optimizing for high opt-ins while registration is live

Congratulations, your engagement is live and accepting opt-ins!

If you have followed our Best practices for building excitement for Orbiit before running engagements, you are set up for success from the start. Once matching rounds are live, you can add more excitement to the opt-in process by following these tips below.

Once your registration link is live:

  • Make announcements 📣 (we suggest 3 different touch points)

    • Email: send out the day the Orbiit invite goes out so your audience hears firsthand from you and knows to expect an invite email from Orbiit. Utilize our recommended announcement cop for one-to-one and group matches.

    • Non-email channels: post the opt-in link on Slack, Circle, LinkedIn Groups, or wherever you communicate with your community. reference our internal promotion guide.

    • In-person and/or Virtual events: Leverage other events (webinars, meetings, happy hours) where your community is coming together to call out the matching round and share the opt-in link

  • Generate excitement and showcase value 🎉

    • Include stats or anonymized testimonials in your opt-in invite or reminder emails to build excitement and showcase the value of these conversations. *Client to update the copy in bold.

      Example: *Our Orbiit matching round is currently live! Meet a peer and go deeper on your personal/professional challenges, goals, and interests.

      Reasons to join:*

      • When asked how strong of a fit your match was for you, you've reported a 4.8/5!

      • What your peers are saying...

        • "Tangible next steps on how to improve what I'm doing!"

  • Use brand evangelists 💫

    • Identify members of the audience who could help promote and build excitement by re-sharing the opt-in link and/or giving a personal testimonial to the group.

    • Reach out to Client Success ([email protected]) to request a list of power users who will help you identify your most active members who will best promote the Orbiit program.

  • Personalized outreach to non-adopters. 🐢

    • Reach out to Client Success ([email protected]) to request a list of people who have never signed up for an engagement and target them with a direct email.

        You’re missing out! Last year, {Client Name} started offering community chats for our all of portfolio members and want you to take advantage of this curated program. For some context, over 130 {{Client.Name}} members have taken part in these chats. When asked how well-suited their match was, participants indicated a 4.4/5 rating.
